Dear Paul:
Just to thank you again for our fish pool and hot tub. It was worth the
wait even with all the large rocks you had to get out of our yard. The
entire backyard just makes you want to put your office out there and
sleep outside every night. We get so many compliments on the workmanship
as well as the design.
Debby and I and the kids have had many hours of pleasure in both the
pool and the hot tub. The best part is that both are so maintenance
free, except for the cleaning, which somehow is so easy.

Choosing
Florida Pool Company to update our pool was one of the best construction
decisions that we have made. When we chose Paul Melvin as our pool
contractor, it was based on extensive research, but the real proof was
in the job. I am happy to say that the completed project is even better
than our expectations, and we delight in the constant compliments of our
friends.
When we first met with Paul he impressed us with his knowledge, ability,
creativity and positive attitude. Throughout the job it was apparent
that he was proud of his work as he found solutions to possible problems
and made suggestions that resulted in a beautiful outcome. For example,
we had decided that we wanted a sun shelf at one end of our pool that
would necessitate we relocate the spa to the other end. Paul suggested
instead a beach entry, in which the tumbled marble would flow into the
pool at a gentle incline, giving the impression of a beach. This idea
gave us the use of an area for sunning but resulted in a much more
spectacular outcome. He gave us other options for the spa, including a
corner spa with a slightly elevated edge that allowed water to fall over
the softly rounded edge into the pool. Knowing that this design called
for glass tile, he helped us to select a lovely tile from the many
choices that he presented. The sparkling glass tile was exactly the
right choice to highlight the pool’s lovely contrasting lines.
Paul treated our job as though he was doing it for his own home.
Although any construction project can be trying at times, Paul’s
positive approach reminded us that we were going to enjoy the final
result for many years. We love the outcome, never tire of the
compliments and highly recommend Florida Pool Company. Others were kind
